TP-LINK TL-SG1008P 8-Port Giagbit PoE Switch
8 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports
With four PoE ports, transfers data and power on one single cable
Working with IEEE 802.3af compliant PDs, expands home and office network
Requires no configuration and installation
8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE TL-SG1008P integrates 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports. 4 of the 8 Auto-Negotiation RJ45 ports (port-1 to port-4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power to those IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Devices (PDs). In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with data in one single cable, allowing you to expand your network to where there are no power outlets and you wish to fix devices such as APs, IP Cameras or IP Phones, etc.
4 PoE Ports
Equipped with 4 PoE ports with a total power budget of 53W, the TL-SG1008P can power up to four 802.3af PoE compliant devices such as IP cameras, IP telephones or wireless access points. By delivering power over Ethernet, the TL-SG1008P allows for flexible placement of network devices and eliminates the trouble and cost of extra wiring.
Port Priority Protects Your Investment
The priority of supplying power goes down from Port 1 to Port 4. This function will help protecting the system when system power becomes overloaded. For example, if Port 1, 2 and 4 are using 15.4w (maximum power per port is 15.4W), then the total power is 46.2w. And if there is an additional PD inserted to Port 3 with 10w, then the system will cut off Port 4 to protect the system. As a result, Port 1 and 2 will use 15.4w, and Port 3 will use 10w, and no power will be supplied to Port 4.
Power Saving of up to 75%
The TL-SG1008P features innovative energy-efficient technologies that can automatically reduce power consumption by up to 75%.
Diagnostic LED Indicators
Diagnostic LED lights on the front panel display the information of power, link/activity, and speed - allowing you to quickly detect and correct problems on the network.
